Annual Grape Stomps, Wine Blending Classes and Six Bottle Room Package
TEMECULA, Calif. – During September, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, recently named a Top 10 Wine Country Hotel in the U.S. by USA Today’s readers and a consistent top award-winning winery in national and international competitions, including a five-time recipient of the Golden State Winery of the Year Award, pays tribute to California Wine Month. September is the perfect time to experience the state’s annual harvest peak season, allowing guests and locals to experience the state’s diverse soils and unique flavor profiles of California wines.
South Coast Winery’s celebratory events include special September Wednesday Blending Classes led by oenophile experts; Two-Person Grape Stomp Sessions from September 20 through September 22 along the resort’s vineyards with local vendor sales and live music in the Vintner’s Garden; and a special Six Bottle Room Package that gives Villa and Suite guests one-half dozen bottles of curated wines to take home for continued wine appreciation.
Wine Blending Classes Every Wednesday in September
Every Wednesday in September, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The wine experts at South Coast Winery especially enjoy sharing their passion and knowledge of wine blending with guests. It’s a fun activity that includes a friendly wine competition at the end of the classes. Each class is designed to rotate styles and types of wine. They include September 4 – Reds Blending; September 11 – Whites Blending; September 18 – Sweets Blending; and September 25 – Reds Blending.
$85 per person per class, exclusive of tax and gratuity. ($107.92 with tax and gratuity.) Wine Club Members receive 35% off wines purchased.
South Coast Winery’s Annual Grape Stomps in the Vineyards
Friday, September 20, at 2, 4 and 6 p.m.; Saturday, September 21, at 11 a.m., 1,3,5 and 7 p.m.; Sunday, September 22, at 11 a.m., 1, 3 and 5 p.m.
For first-time grape stompers and those who enjoy this special experience every year, South Coast Winery’s Annual Grape Stomps are an exhilarating way to celebrate the harvest of the vineyards’ estate grown grapes with an opportunity to stomp these precious grapes in a charming winery location. In the Vintner’s Garden, guests will be able to shop from local vendors, swing to live musical entertainment and, best of all, sip some exceptional award-winning wines.
The cost is $50, which includes grape stomp for two, tasting for two and a deposit per couple to be applied toward case purchases on the day of event attended.
Six Bottle Room Package at South Coast Winery Resort & Spa

It includes a deluxe stay in a resort Villa or Suite and a curated half case of fine wines selected by the esteemed South Coast winemakers.
