TEMECULA, Calif. – South Coast Winery Resort & Spa, located among picturesque vineyards in the heart of Temecula Valley, is ushering in the holiday season with a festive Thanksgiving celebration at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant, followed by its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. On Thursday, November 28, guests are invited to savor a seasonal Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet or indulge in special à la carte dinner options at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant. The festivities continue Sunday, December 1, with the highly anticipated Tree Lighting Ceremony, complete with family-friendly activities and a special visit from Santa Claus.
Bounteous Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant
Thursday, November 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Guests can indulge in a sumptuous Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet thoughtfully crafted by the restaurant’s culinary team. The spread includes a diverse selection of appetizers such as a Charcuterie Display featuring fine cheeses like Port Derby and smoked gouda, accompanied by prosciutto, Genoa salami and seasonal cranberry apple compote. Additional highlights include Shrimp Cocktail, Smoked Salmon with bagels and an Autumn Valley Kale Salad. For the main course, diners can choose from a variety of seasonal dishes including Vegan Soyrizo Stuffed Mushrooms, Squash Pancakes with toppings and a Carving Station offering Traditional Turkey with gravy and Prime Rib au jus. Sides like Balsamic Roasted Vegetables and Sage Stuffing, along with decadent desserts such as Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie round out this bounteous feast.

Thanksgiving à la Carte Dinner Specials at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant

For dinner, The Vineyard Rose Restaurant will offer its regular menu alongside two Thanksgiving specials. Guests can enjoy a Traditional Turkey Plate for $39, featuring dark and white turkey meat, mashed potatoes, green beans almondine, balsamic vegetables and cranberry chutney. For those seeking a heartier option, the Herb-Crusted Prime Rib special is available for $59 served with mashed potatoes, au jus and horseradish cream.
Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in South Coast Winery’s Courtyard
Sunday, December 1, from 5 to 8 p.m.
The holiday season officially begins with South Coast Winery’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Starting at 5 p.m. families can enjoy festive activities including a meet and greet with Santa Claus, a petting zoo, face painting and rides on a horse-drawn trolley. Hot chocolate, cider and a dessert bar will be available while adults can enjoy beer, wine and holiday-themed cocktails. The evening culminates with the lighting of the Christmas tree, a magical moment to share with family and friends. Attendees are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys for donation to Toys for Tots, helping bring joy to children in need.
