SOUTH COAST WINERY RESORT & SPA ANNOUNCES STAR-STUDDED LINEUP FOR ANNUAL RHYTHM ON THE VINE® JAZZ SERIES
Featuring Grammy-Winning Artists and Special Charity Events
TEMECULA, Calif. – South Coast Winery Resort & Spa’s acclaimed annual jazz concert series, Rhythm on the Vine®, returns Sunday, July 20, bringing six nights of world-class jazz to the resort’s scenic Vintner’s Garden. Produced in partnership with Michael Paulo and Apaulo Productions, the series will feature a diverse lineup of internationally renowned jazz artists, culminating in a final performance on Sunday, Sept. 28.
Guests can enhance their concert experience with dinner at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant, which opens at 5 p.m. each Sunday. Reservations are required via OpenTable. Multiple cash bars will be available, offering beer, fine wines and soft drinks, while additional food options will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

- Sunday, July 20 – Hiroshima
Los Angeles-based Hiroshima, led by composer and producer Dan Kuramoto, has been captivating audiences for more than three decades with its unique blend of contemporary jazz, pop, rock, and traditional Japanese folk music. The ensemble, nominated for a Grammy in 2010, features Kuramoto, koto virtuoso and composer June Kuramoto, pianist and keyboardist Kimo Cornwell, and drummer and percussionist Danny Yamamoto. - Sunday, August 3 – Smooth Jazz All Stars Show

This special performance features an all-star lineup, including guitarist and producer Steve Oliver (“A New Light”); saxophonist and vocalist Darryl Walker; Billboard award-winning saxophonist Jeff Ryan; guitarist Patrick Yandall (“You Will Be Alright”); pianist Yuko Mabuchi (“Quantum”); saxophonist Patrick Lamb; and bassist Darryl Williams. A surprise guest will also be announced. A portion of proceeds will benefit Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center. - Sunday, August 17 – Saxman Tom Braxton, Vocalist Rebecca Jade, and Guitarist Andrea Lisa
This dynamic trio showcases the talents of saxophonist Tom Braxton, known for his smooth jazz hits like “Hop for Tomorrow” and collaborations with Bob James; award-winning vocalist Rebecca Jade, a seasoned singer-songwriter with more than 30 years of studio experience; and internationally acclaimed guitarist, singer, and producer Andréa Lisa, whose debut album “Silver Lining” earned widespread success. - Sunday, August 31 – Tris Imboden Yacht Stars
Led by Grammy-winning drummer Tris Imboden, a staple of the Yacht Rock era, this all-star band features Bruce Boulanger (vocals/guitar), Jeff Gunn (lead vocals), Alan Deremo (bass), Michael Paulo (saxophone), and Carl Herrgesell (vocals/keyboards). Together, they bring decades of experience, having performed with icons like Kenny Loggins, Elton John, Olivia Newton-John, and more. - Sunday, September 14 – Al Jarreau Reunion Band featuring Chris Walker
Chris Walker’s Al Jarreau Reunion Band honors the legacy of the legendary Al Jarreau, the only vocalist to win Grammys in jazz, pop and R&B. The band features musicians who once performed with Jarreau, with Walker, a singer, composer, and producer, leading the tribute. He is also the star of The Music Forever (TMF). A toy drive will be held to support Gifts of Joy, benefiting children fighting cancer. - Sunday, September 28 – Kalapana
Closing out the Rhythm on the Vine® series, legendary Hawaiian jazz and pop-rock band Kalapana takes the stage. Known for their influential sound and acclaimed albums from the 1970s and ’80s, the group has earned worldwide recognition, including the Hawai’i Academy of Recording Arts Lifetime Achievement Award.
