SOUTH COAST WINERY RESORT & SPA’S THE VINEYARD ROSE RESTAURANT AWARDED ITS SECOND WINE SPECTATOR “AWARD OF EXCELLENCE”

One of Only Four 2024 Temecula Winners in This Category

TEMECULA, Calif. – For its second consecutive year, South Coast Winery Resort & Spa’s The Vineyard Rose Restaurant located amidst 63 acres of prime Temecula Valley vines, garnered the prized 2024 Award of Excellence from international industry, wine-reporting leader Wine Spectator.

Among over 3,500 wine list entries from the U.S. and more than 75 countries and territories, The Vineyard Rose Restaurant is one of 2,150 recipients of this year’s Award of Excellence. Winners in this category typically offer around 100 wine list selections. The judges of these prestigious awards choose dining venues that feature quality and diverse selections in line with the restaurant’s cuisine and price point. Each wine is listed with all pertinent information and clear presentation.

The wine list at The Vineyard Rose Restaurant has 150 selections on its list, many of which have won esteemed national and international recognition in highly respected wine competitions. The restaurant has an inventory of 1,800 bottles, and Wine Spectator states that the list’s strength is in presenting outstanding California wines – suited to pair exceptionally well with the American/Californian menu served at lunch and dinner in its Tuscan-inspired dining room.

The total number of winners from this year’s Grand, Best of Award of Excellence and Award of Excellence Wine Spectator citations were given to 3,700 wine programs, and they appear online at WineSpectator.com. Additionally, the list will be published in the August 31 issue of Wine Spectator magazine which will be available on newsstands mid-July.
